Hayden High School CTE Culinary Class held it's 1st Annual Chili Cookoff. Year one students faced off against year two and three students as the student body and staff gladly tasted samples and voted for their favorite! Team Two led by Mrs. Barbara Martinez took home the wooden spoon trophies and title of Chili Cook Off Champions! Our Culinary Class is led by Mrs. Lizette Aguerro.

All recent Hayden graduates are invited to participate in a peer panel discussion with juniors and seniors to share your college experience.

Join us for an enjoyable afternoon! Hayden High School is hosting a family event; have your student register you for an afternoon of cookie and cupcake decorating, ornament and wreath making, music, and more.

Mrs. Espinoza’s 3rd grade class at Leonor Hambly K-8 Elementary is proudly celebrating four winners in the statewide Arizona Department of Education/Arizona Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity Calendar Contest.  All four winning entries came from the same 3rd grade classroom. Out of eight schools and more than 55 submissions, students Tyannah Gaither, Aaden Herrera, Selenna Espinoza, and Honorable Mention recipient Kyla McLaughlin were selected by the AzDoHS to have their artwork featured in a cybersecurity calendar distributed to schools across Arizona. The Hayden Winkelman Unified School District is extremely proud of their creativity, hard work, and the dedication shown in Mrs. Espinoza’s classroom.

Leonor Hambly K-8 is having a Math Mania Night!!! Students and their families are invited to come out and enjoy a night of games, learning and lots of fun! Its scheduled for Tuesday, November 18th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!
